About Our Chef- Momma Lynn

At the tender age of 7, my grandmother would wake me up early in the morning on Saturdays to "get the day started". Before the sun came up I had washed clothes, cleaned the house and helped prepare dinner. It was at this age, I fell in love with cooking. I have cooked all of my life and love every minute of it!

In my adult years, I have worked in all aspects of the kitchen; from washing dishes, waiting tables, prep cook,  all the way to becoming Executive Chef. I love the way food can make people happy and can turn almost any situation around. Cooking has been my love from the very beginning. I began selling lunches in 2000 to local business and major contractors. My intended purpose was to just sell really great food, until God gave me a greater vision.

My assignment was not only to sell great tasting and nutritious food but to offer catering services for all event types. Instead of just selling someone a great meal, we can deliver the entire experience. Whether it's a wedding, birthday party, dinner for two or a family reunion; L.A. Cafe/Catering is there to do it all. We pride ourselves on putting together elegant events, having motivated staff members and of course AMAZING food!
